When will the Firefly be in stock?

We have been receiving enquiries about the Firefly on a daily basis but sadly due to manufacturing issues, we just couldn't sell any more of them. We have some parts missing while some parts taking more space than needed in our warehouse and it's quite a frustrating situation to be in. We just couldn't keep up with demand and it's a hassle coordinating missing parts hence we left the project out for quite a bit, just trying to assemble a few units up for sale whenever we could.

We know you guys are frustrated and all you want is to get a 200FPS shell ejecting shotgun in your hand and we heard you. Finally, it's time to fulfill your wish as we would like to announce that we have acquired the design and manufacturing rights of Firefly from Colonel Wasp to take manufacturing into our own hands! With this, we have access to all the factories that produce each of the parts hence a full control over the production line. We hope with this, we can speed up the production process and get more units to all of you.

So, what's new other than you can get a Firefly soon? These are the changes that you can expect for our upcoming release for Monkee Mods Firefly.

The main receiver will be Translucent Orange in color
The shotgun shell will be Bright Orange in color
Rest of the bits and parts will be Black in color
The barrel, magazine tube and plunger tube will be in Metallic Orange
Main spring remains at 12KG, an extra 5KG main spring will be provided
Comes with 8 shells instead of 6
Barrel now comes with protruded section to allow the SCAR or rifling muzzle to be fitted directly
Magazine tube breech adapter end shaved slightly to prevent breech adapter from cracking
12mm receiver screws upgraded to 10mm stainless steel screw to reduce screw stripping issues
10 Worker Gen2 HE short darts are now included with the package

Upon launching, there will be only standard version available. For extended barrel, you will have to purchase it separately. The blaster's MSRP is 65 USD. The factories have wrapped up the production for the first batch and the parts are being delivered to us as we speak. We should be able to ship out the blaster by end of October 2021. Our initial production batch is quite small. If the demand is there, we will certainly ramp up our next production batch. In order for us to gauge the demand, we will open a pre-order soon so if you are interested, please do grab one before it's sold.

To further support the community and the Firefly platform, we will be listing and selling all individual parts of the blaster which you can purchase as an upgrade part or replacement part. From screws, barrels, extractor, springs and even the main receiver shell itself will be made available. We are also looking to release more receiver shells in the future, so if you already own a Firefly, all you need to do is to purchase the receiver shell and swap it. We will make more color variation for each part in the future so you can customize your Firefly based on your preference.

We are also looking to further develop the blaster, introducing more accessories and upgrade parts to support it as a platform. There will be more exciting news and products coming soon so stay tuned! We hope you will be thrilled to hear about this so let us know what you think so far!
