Welcome to the future of electronic foam flinging! What you are looking here at is the next generation of Nerf blaster, introducing the QWK Challenger MK3 Y.E.S blaster.
The Y.E.S is an acronym and it stands for Young Electronic System.

For a long period of time many Nerfers' been looking for a fully automatic Nerf electric springer and all we had is just a Nerf Stampede that is lackluster in almost all aspect. Since there is no answer to that, the Flywheel blaster took over, offering semi or fully automatic blaster based on 2 or more flywheel crushing, squeezing and flinging the dart. While there is no denial that the flywheel is a relatively efficient and simple system, there is something about it that is just not right shooting a blaster with the loud motors whirring, and if your flywheel or motor is out of spec, the blaster will vibrate vigorously. If your motor burnt and needed replacement? Oh the nightmare of removing the flywheel from the motor and flywheel cage.

And finally, the wait is over. QWK or known as QingWuKu (青武酷) is offering what we been asking for, one of the very first innovative AEG (Automatic-Electric-Gun) based Nerf Electric Spring Blaster.

The Challenger come in 2 different configuration, the Standard Edition and the PRO Edition. Both version came with ABS external, MOSFET, blowback action, and metals gears in gearbox. Yes, not only that it's an AEG blaster, it came with MOSFET which allow you to control your firing mode, semi-auto, 3 shot burst and full automatic. The blowback action means the blaster's bolt will be pulled back, and slam forward as it chamber the darts from the magazine into the barrel as you fire every single shot, exactly how a Gas Blowback airsoft rifle works or if you will, an extremely realistic mechanism.

Standard and Pro? What are the differences?
The PRO Edition's gearbox came in CNC aluminum gearbox shell while the Standard Edition is using a nylon gearbox shell. This upgrade allows you to push the limit of your blaster as the metal gearbox shell can sustain a higher firing rate while using a stiffer spring. Out of the box, the PRO Edition does about 160+- FPS while the Standard Edition does about 120 +- FPS (just nice if you are in a FPS limit game). The PRO Edition also came with a Neodymium motor which allows it to achieve a much higher firing rate even when it's paired with a stiffer spring.

Functionality wise, the PRO Edition have a sweet sweet Bolt-Lock-On-Empty-Mag feature which will lock the bolt when your magazine is empty and stop the blaster from blank firing, another extremely realistic feature and it is very useful to let the operator know that the mag is empty. Once you have inserted a fresh mag in, the bolt can be released with a push of the bolt release, chambering the dart into the barrel and ready to go. Based on what we heard from QWK, you will be able to upgrade your Standard Edition to include this feature in the future with an upgrade kit. The PRO Edition came with picatinny rail on the sides and the bottom while the Standard Edition came with none.

For accessories, you will get a battery and 2 magazines included with your PRO Edition, while the Standard Edition doesn't have any battery included and only came with 1 magazine. The PRO Edition came with a wireless module which allows you to remotely disable your blaster, a nice trick you can pull out on your friends who want to try out your blaster. Or you just don't want your blaster to accidentally fire when your children is around. It is a safety feature! You can upgrade your Standard Edition in the future to include this feature. The Standard Edition comes with a standard SCAR riflingbarrel to improve accuracy while the PRO version came with QWK own's low friction fishing line SCAR rifling barrel that can improve accuracy whilst maintaining the FPS.

Okay, so you have heard all about the blaster, so how much will it cost you? QWK have yet to release any international pricing for this blaster as at this point of this article posted they are still trying to fulfill demand in China before they can start shipping it internationally. Tentatively, the Standard Edition should cost around 200 USD while the PRO Edition will cost twice as much at 400USD+ . It's quite a hefty price tag but considering all the perks you are getting and having this state of the art technology blaster, it's definitely worth the grab for the enthusiastic Nerfers out there.

If you are interested to get one for yourself, you can put yourself in Monkee Mods's Challenger MK3 Interest list. Once you have registered yourself, we will try to allocate a unit for you once it's available. No payment is needed for now, so register yourself now! It's estimated to ship out in China by middle of September 2021 and should hit international market around November 2021.
