Recoil Spring

The recoil spring functions to return the slide to the battery position after the blowback action. A stiffer spring can make your blaster works snappier as the slide will cycle much faster than a stock recoil spring. But that comes with the cost of wear and tear and higher gas consumption as the force and pressure need to blow the slide back becomes harder.
