The 5.11 Mesh Cap pairs a breathable mesh back panel with a front Velcro acceptor patch carrying the 5.11 logo, so you get a branded cap out of the box while still having a loop panel free for swapping in whatever Velcro patch you want to run instead — callsign, team, or novelty patches all work here since the panel accepts any standard hook-backed patch, not just 5.11 branded ones.
